The Second Annual Commuter Appreciation Week is slated to be held October 22-26, 2018.
This will be a week filled with activities to acknowledge all our students who commute to our University from various locations. Last year several departments were involved and handed out items such as spinners, free oil change, free windshield wipers and free meal tickets. The following activities will take place at this year’s event:
- International Center – Giveaways: Wallets and lanyards – 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. ALL WEEK in Blum 210
- Center for Multicultural Education – Pens and Multicultural Guides – 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. ALL WEEK in Blum 207
- Student Affairs – 8 a.m. breakfast sandwiches, afternoon snacks, assorted giveaways, and information throughout the day – 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. ONLY ON Thursday, Oct. 25 in Blum 228
This year we would like to know if your department would like to participate in either giving away items or getting involved with a scavenger hunt. Please sign up by sending an email to Kathy Frost at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please sign up by Friday, Oct. 12. If you have any questions, please call Kathy at (816) 271-4281.
