Leaverton Hall

Leaverton Hall is a coed, suite-style building that houses first-year, sophomore, junior and senior students. It also offers housing for our student athletes. It is staffed with one Residence Hall Director and six student Resident Assistants.

Suite Amenities
• Each suite houses 4 students of the same gender • Each suite consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a shared commons area • Typical suite living area: 16' x 11' 9" • Typical suite bedroom: 8' 11" x 8' 11" • Typical suite bathroom: 8' 11" x 11' 5" • Bed: 2' 2" x 6' 9" x 3' • Window: 4' x 4' • Common area in each suite consists of couch, coffee table, table and chairs • Accessible Room also available (see accessible room floor plan photo below) • Card swipe entry on each suite door

Who is the Leaverton Family?
The Leaverton Family has been actively involved in the St. Joseph community for many years. Ralph Roosevelt Leaverton, founder of Leaverton Auto Supply, came to St. Joseph in the 1920s and left a legacy continued today by his children and grandchildren. In holding with the Missouri Western’s educational commitment, Barbara Leaverton’s concern for those less fortunate and her true interest in education are evident through her commitment to the college, its students and the Pass the Power Adult Literacy Program.
