For a one-stop shop, please complete a Publicity Request Form, where you can make a request to have your notice included in the student and/or faculty/staff e-newsletter, have a press release written and sent to local media, set up social media posts on the University’s social sites, have your story included in the alumni magazine, schedule a photographer to cover your event and more.

Submit a Publicity Request Form before 4:30 p.m. Monday for inclusion in the the weekly student and/or employee newsletters, which are distributed on Wednesdays.

If you want to send a flier to all employees through campus mail, place the copies in campus mail and include a note,  “One to Each Employee.” Make 600 copies.

All materials must be approved by the Center for Student Involvement office in Student Affairs. Request forms are available on the CSI site. Deadline: Mondays at noon. You can also reserve a table to be set up in Blum Union.

Residence Hall Mailboxes

Residence Hall Mailboxes

Mailboxes can be stuffed if the event is open to all residence hall students and is sponsored by a university department or a student organization. The flier must be approved by the Center for Student Involvement. For convenience, please have the fliers folded in thirds. Call 816-271-7101 for a quantity; it is usually around 1,400.
