Advance your career \u2013 Earn your BSN and MSN at Missouri Western!<\/h3>\n

Missouri Western’s RN to MSN Track offers you the chance to earn your Bachelor of Science in Nursing while taking courses towards your Master of Science in Nursing. Students who are admitted to the RN-BSN track will have 12 hours of graduate coursework towards both degrees.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bachelor’s degrees are conferred, with RN-MSN students having preferred acceptance into the MSN program.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Courses are available fully online. Please contact us for an individualized advising appointment to determine your graduation timeline.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Minimum Admission Requirements:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Graduate of Associate Degree Nursing Program* or Diploma Nursing School with a minimum overall GPA of 2.75. <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Current, unencumbered RN licensure in the U.S. (Note: Recent graduates will be placed on probationary status pending obtainment of RN license.) <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Completion of the following MWSU Nursing prerequisite courses (or equivalent courses) with grade of \u201cC\u201d or higher: <\/span>\n
      \n
    • General Studies Math Requirement <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Anatomy & Physiology <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Microbiology <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • If these courses have not been completed prior to applying, the student may be accepted conditionally and must complete these courses with a C or higher prior to graduation. <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Supporting documentation as to why you wish to purse this accelerated pathway. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      *Graduates of ADN Program from a higher education institution with regional accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Graduates of non-accredited ADN programs should contact the School of Nursing & Health Professions for additional admission requirements.<\/em><\/p>\n

      • Complete the general admission RN-BSN application form and be accepted to MoWest <\/span><\/li>\n
          \n
        • After admission, your academic advisor will assist you to transition into an RN-MSN plan of study<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        • Documents needed to apply:\n

            • A copy of your RN license<\/li>\n
            • A supporting statement as to why you wish to pursue the RN-BSN pathway<\/li>\n
            • Official transcripts with all college credits<\/li>\n
