\"entrepreneurshipJuly 14, 2020–The Craig School of Business Center for Entrepreneurship at Missouri Western State University is hosting the rescheduled Entrepreneurship Week July 21-23. The revised event includes five free workshops and a Capstone Business Luncheon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seating is limited to allow for social distancing. Registration is required for all events. To register, visit <\/span>the Center for Entrepreneurship website<\/span><\/a>, calling 816-271-4283, or email <\/span>entrepreneurship@missouriwestern.edu<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

All workshops will be held in the Enright Community Room, Spratt Hall room 214. The Capstone Business Luncheon will be held in the Fulkerson Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday, July 21<\/b><\/p>\n

10-11:30 a.m., Planning for Your Business: writing a business plan, business legals and how to protect your business, presented by Annette Weeks, Center for Entrepreneurship; Susan Montee, Montee Law Firm; and Don Tolly, Tolly & Associates<\/span><\/p>\n

1-1:30 p.m., QuickBooks Awareness the importance of bookkeeping and learning how to navigate QuickBooks online, presented by Shelly Hulet, Sumner, Carter, Hardy and Schwichtenberg, PC<\/span><\/p>\n

2:30-4 p.m., How to Finance Your Business: the different financing options to start and grow a business, presented by Roni Mauer, Mo-Kan<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday, July 22<\/b><\/p>\n

10-11:30 a.m., Creating with Canva: a guide to creating branded content through the application, presented by Miu Sutton, graduate assistant in the Center for Entrepreneurship<\/span><\/p>\n

1-2:30 p.m., Website Design: learn how to build your own website for your business, presented by Jake Kelly, Missouri Western State University<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday, July 23<\/b><\/p>\n

Noon, Capstone Business Luncheon, including the presentation of Entrepreneur of the Year and Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year awards. The cost is $20.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entrepreneurship Week is usually held in March, but was rescheduled this year due to the coronavirus outbreak.<\/span><\/p>\n
