The celebration is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Holi celebrates the beginning of spring and the triumph of good over evil. Missouri Western\u2019s celebration will include delicious Indian food, fun music and the chance to throw bright-colored powder at other participants. Be sure to bring a camera \u2013 the bright colors make for great photo opportunities. Also be sure to wear old clothes, as the powder can stain.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2018\/03\/Holi-2018-Handouts.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Missouri Western\u2019s Holi celebration is hosted by the Indian-Nepali Student Association.<\/p>\n<p><em>Missouri Western State University is a comprehensive regional university providing a blend of traditional liberal arts and professional degree programs.
