Holi, the Hindu Festival of Color, will be celebrated at Missouri Western State University from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 29, in the Kelley Commons outside of Blum Student Union. The celebration is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
Holi celebrates the beginning of spring and the triumph of good over evil. Missouri Western\u2019s celebration will include delicious Indian food, fun music and the chance to throw bright-colored powder at other participants. Be sure to bring a camera \u2013 the bright colors make for great photo opportunities. Also be sure to wear old clothes, as the powder can stain.<\/a><\/p>\n Missouri Western\u2019s Holi celebration is hosted by the Indian-Nepali Student Association.<\/p>\n Missouri Western State University is a comprehensive regional university providing a blend of traditional liberal arts and professional degree programs.
