A documentary short about a current Missouri Western State University student who survived an abusive relationship and sexual assault while in high school will premiere at Missouri Western. \u201cLearning to be Chloe Again: A Survivor\u2019s Story\u201d will be shown at 7 p.m. Monday, April 9, in the Kemper Recital Hall, Spratt Hall room 101. The showing is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
The 20-minute film produced on campus features Chloe talking about her journey to find peace and her place in the world. It will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the student and her mother.<\/p>\n
The premiere is sponsored by Missouri Western, Mosaic Life Care and the Buchanan County Sexual Assault Response Team. It is one of several events Missouri Western is hosting to commemorate Sexual Assault Awareness Month.<\/p>\n
