The talk, \u201cFrom Enemy to Friend: An American View of Vietnam Today,\u201d is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Joanne Katz, who was a professor of legal studies, recently completed a semester as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Foreign Trade University Faculty of Law in Hanoi. Her experience in Hanoi and throughout the country showed a very different Vietnam from the evening news film clips of her youth. Her lecture will include some of the history of the country and her experiences and observations in present-day Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p><em>Missouri Western State University is a comprehensive regional university providing a blend of traditional liberal arts and professional degree programs.
