The Nontraditional and Commuter Student Center at Missouri Western State University will host several events in commemoration of National Nontraditional Student Week Nov. 6-11. The events will take place in the Center, Eder Hall room 200.<\/p>\n
11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cHow to be a Successful Nontraditional Student.\u201d Robin Wormsley, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2015, will talk about her experiences as a nontraditional student.<\/p>\n 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cWrite a Thank You Note.\u201d Students are encouraged to stop by and write a thank you note to their favorite teacher.<\/p>\n 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cNontraditional Student Recognition Day.\u201d Nontraditional students will enjoy a taco bar from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and receive a certificate of appreciation.<\/p>\n 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cJournal Day.\u201d Jane Travis will teach students how to make a journal from recycled materials.<\/p>\n Missouri Western State University is a comprehensive regional university providing a blend of traditional liberal arts and professional degree programs.
