The discussion, \u201cThe Constitution: Issues and Challenges from an Interactive Perspective,\u201d is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Sept. 17 marks the 230<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by the 39 members of the Constitutional Convention in 1787. Because Sept. 17 falls on a weekend this year, Constitution Day is observed on Monday, Sept. 18.<\/p>\n<p><em>Missouri Western State University is a comprehensive regional university providing a blend of traditional liberal arts and professional degree programs.
