The Potter Art Gallery at Missouri Western State University will host two national ceramics exhibitions Feb. 24 through March 24. An opening reception for \u201cTwin Cups\u201d and \u201cOff the Table,\u201d free and open to the public, will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24. The national exhibitions are hosted by the MWSU Clay Guild.<\/p>\n
\u201cTwin Cups\u201d features functional or sculptural representations of a pair of cups, mugs or other drinking vessels. The juror for \u201cTwin Cups\u201d is Ted Neal, professor of ceramics in the School of Art at Ball State University in Indiana.<\/p>\n
\u201cOff the Table\u201d features functional or sculptural forms designed to hang on a wall. The juror for \u201cOff the Table\u201d is Margaret Bohls, associate professor of art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.<\/p>\n
The Potter Art Gallery is located at the front entrance to Potter Hall on Missouri Western\u2019s campus. It is open 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and admission is free.
