Dr. Ed Taylor, assistant professor of political science at Missouri Western State University, will present a talk titled \u201cEnter the Peacemakers: The Women\u2019s Coalition and the Good Friday Negotiations in Northern Ireland\u201d at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 in the Hoff Conference Rooms, Blum Union rooms 218-219. The talk, part of the Peace and Conflict Studies Speaker Series, is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
Dr. Taylor is part of the committee that designed and continues to direct the Peace and Conflict Studies Program, and is responsible for the international relations curriculum at Missouri Western. His core research interests are centered upon building peace in post-conflict societies. He is working on a book project focused on the intersection between feminist theory and foreign policy.<\/p>\n
