Multiple community partners in the St. Joseph area, including the Craig School of Business at Missouri Western State University, have launched a new initiative: Cup of Joe is a simple way to engage entrepreneurs in communities around the world. Each week, the Cup of Joe program, inspired by 1 Million Cups in Kansas City, offers local businesses an opportunity to share their experience with a diverse audience of mentors, advisors, and fellow business owners.<\/p>\n
Two presenters are showcased each week. Presenters prepare a 10-minute educational presentation and engage in 15 minutes of feedback and questioning afterwards. Entrepreneurs gain insightful feedback while connecting with a supportive community that cares about their progress.<\/p>\n
The audience also learns a great deal from the presentations. Whether this is through passively listening or deeply engaging with the entrepreneurs, there is much to learn every week from these dynamic and diverse communities.<\/p>\n
1 Million Cup programs take place every Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. in locations all around the country. Locally, Cup of Joe meets at the St. Joseph Public Library-East Hills Mall location, 502 N. Woodbine Road, St. Joseph, MO 64506. Supporters gather around 8:30 a.m. for coffee and conversation. Use the door on the east side of the caf\u00e9. The program begins at 9 a.m.<\/p>\n
