The Department of Music and the School of Fine Arts at Missouri Western State University present the Missouri Western Orchestra in concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9 in the Potter Hall Theater. General admission is $5, or $3 for senior citizens and those with Missouri Western IDs.<\/p>\n
The orchestra will perform \u201cThe Carnival of the Animals\u201d by Saint-Saens. The concert will feature piano faculty members Dr. Matt Edwards and Dr. Nathanael May. The concert will include the Overture to \u201cThe Creatures of Prometheus\u201d by Beethoven, Symphony No. 6 \u201cLe Matin\u201d by Haydn, and works by Mozart, Dellus and Dello Joio.<\/p>\n
