The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoons. Tickets are $14 for adults; $12 for faculty, staff and military; and $8 for students. Tickets may be purchased online at mwsutix.com, in person at the Potter Hall Box Office, or by phone at 816-271-4452.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Drowsy Chaperone,\u201d with music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison and book by Bob Martin and Dan McKellar, is a hilarious tribute to the Jazz Age shows of the 1920s. A diehard musical theatre fan plays his favorite cast album on his turntable, and the musical comes to life in his living room while he provides wry commentary.<\/p>\n<p>The original Broadway production won five Tony Awards in 2006, including for Best Book and Best Original Score.
