Missouri Western State University and Live Well St. Joe will host a celebration of the American Cancer Society\u2019s Great American Smokeout from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 in Remington and Agenstein Halls on the Missouri Western campus. The event is free and open to the public. Those who have quit smoking in the past year are especially invited to celebrate the step they\u2019ve taken to better health.<\/p>\n
A reception with a build-your-own ice cream sundae bar, cake and snacks will be held in the Remington Hall atrium. There will be a free showing of the film \u201cForces of Nature\u201d in the Bushman Planetarium inside Agenstein Hall at 5:30 p.m. Participants will be able to register for door prizes and share their stories of quitting tobacco use.<\/p>\n
