The Department of Art and the School of Fine Arts at Missouri Western State University will hold its first Juried Student Art Show Nov. 13 to Dec. 4 in the Potter Gallery on the Missouri Western campus. The show is free and open to the public. There will be an opening reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 in the gallery.<\/p>\n
Students submitted their work for the show, which was juried by Amy Kligman, well=known artist and co-owner of PLUG Projects Gallery in Kansas City. The show is designed to give students experience with submitting and presenting work as professional artists.<\/p>\n
The work of 22 students will be displayed.<\/p>\n
