St. Joseph, Mo.–May 2, 2012–The theatre and cinema program at Missouri Western State University presents the MWSU Cinema Showcase at 7 p.m. Friday, May 4 in the Kemper Recital Hall, inside Leah Spratt Hall. Admission is free.<\/p>\n
“The showcase features this year’s best music videos, commercials and short films,” said Dallas Henry, assistant professor of theatre and cinema. “It’s a wonderful night to see some of the great work that our cinema program is doing.”<\/p>\n
The night also includes the launch of a viral video commercial for Hy-Vee, directed by Justin Joseph, senior theatre and cinema major of St. Joseph, and filmed in the St. Joseph store.<\/p>\n
Some of the films contain adult content which is unsuitable for young audiences. Parental guidance is strongly recommended.<\/p>\n
