The event honors and remembers the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gabbie Falletta, U.S. Army veteran and director of the Center for Military and Veterans Services, will be speaking during the wreath ceremony.\u00a0 MoWest student Kevin Wagers, U.S. Marine Corps and Army National Guard veteran and management major from St. Joseph, will place the wreath.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Faculty, staff, students, veterans, military families and community members are encouraged to attend in support of Memorial Day remembrance and to recognize the sacrifices made by our nation\u2019s service members.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Missouri Western State University will be closed May 25 in observance of the holiday.<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Missouri Western State University is a student-centered learning community preparing individuals for lives of excellence through applied learning.
