\"blackApr 12, 2026–Missouri Western State University\u2019s annual President\u2019s Concert will feature a performance of Antonio Vivaldi\u2019s \u201cGloria\u201d by the MoWest Chamber Choir in collaboration with The Choral Experience at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 12 at First Presbyterian Church, 301 N. 7th Street in downtown St. Joseph. The concert, presented by the MoWest Arts Society, is free and open to the public.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The concert will bring together MoWest students and professional choral artists in a shared performance of one of the most celebrated works in the choral repertoire.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cVivaldi\u2019s \u2018Gloria\u2019 is known for its vibrant energy, lyrical beauty and dramatic contrasts, making it a cornerstone of Baroque sacred music,\u201d said Dr. Paul Dease, director of choral studies. \u201cThis collaboration highlights MoWest\u2019s commitment to high-impact learning through performance, allowing students to engage in professional-level music-making while strengthening the University\u2019s role as a cultural leader in the region.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
