A reception and awards ceremony for Missouri Western State University\u2019s literary magazines, \u201cCanvas\u201d and \u201cThe Mochila Review,\u201d will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in the Junior College Room of the Blum Student Union. The event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
Awards will be presented to students who submitted the top writing and visual arts.\u00a0Following the awards presentation,\u00a0students published in this year\u2019s \u201cCanvas\u201d <\/em>will read from their original\u00a0works.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cCanvas\u201d is the literary and arts magazine dedicated to showcasing student and alumni poetry, prose and photography.
