May 16, 2023–<\/span>Missouri Western State University graphic design students visited two leading advertising agencies, VMLY & R and Barkley, on their annual Kansas City Design Studio Tour.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Students from the Final Portfolio Class were given a guided tour of the facilities, an overall presentation of the agencies\u2019 clients and services, and Q & A sessions arranged just for them. Students met with art directors, designers, and recruiters.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMost importantly, students were given timely information about internships, portfolio reviews, and helpful tips on networking and job interviewing,\u201d said Teresa Harris, professor of art and graphic design program director.<\/span><\/p>\n
