April 14, 2020–The Department of Art at Missouri Western State University will present its 2020 Senior Art Exhibition online.
Graduating seniors usually exhibit their work in the Potter Art Gallery with receptions to showcase the students’ work and artistic accomplishments. With the COVID-19 pandemic closing campus, those events were cancelled for the 27 artists who are graduating this semester.
Like many museums around the world in response to social-distancing guidelines, the Senior Art Exhibition will go virtual. Visitors to griff.vn/SrArtShow20 will see the students’ artwork and learn more about the artists.
Participating students are Sarah Acuff, Sierra Albin, Breanne Bettis, Ashlynn Bohannon, Guylan Bowman, Abbi Brown, Jordan Butler, Maddie Culotta, Lindsey Davis, Katie Frazee, Devin Halbirt, Quinne Hibbler, Ashley James, Malyssa Giesken, Summer Gregory, Christine Koterman, Francesca Lenzini, PK Lombardi, Alexis Meyer, Michelle Monteith, Julia Poppa, Tyler Reed, Bailey Shaw, Michael Siever, James Simon, Kamryn Smith and Carmella Sportsman.
