In an emergency or crisis situation, MWSU aims to be a lifeline for military-affiliated students in need. This resource is to be used to prevent major interruptions in completing academic requirements by students who have encountered unexpected financial obstacles.<\/p>\n<p>This fund supports MWSU military students who have an urgent need for temporary financial assistance, especially if it might prevent a student from continuing their degree program in the form of monetary support up to $1000.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must meet all of the eligibility requirements listed below.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 2.5 GPA<\/li>\n<li>Be a military-affiliated student\n<ul>\n<li>Veteran (with a discharge status other than dishonorable), current service member, National Guardsmen, Reservist, military spouse, or dependent child<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Proof of military status (Ie. DD214, NGB 23, Certificate of Eligibility, or Memo from your commander stating you\u2019re a member of your unit in good standing)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Award Amount:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Up to $1000<\/li>\n<li>Limited number awarded<\/li>\n<li>May receive Center funds in addition to other MWSU scholarships\/emergency funding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div
