Missouri Western offers a wide variety of scholarships for all of its students. The Center for Military & Veterans Services scholarship is meant to provide funds to military students on the basis of excellence in academics, financial need, leadership, diversity, service, etc. or a combination of multiple factors in order to assist them with furthering their academic goals.<\/p>\n

Applicants must meet all of the eligibility requirements listed below and submit the completed application postmarked no later than February 1 for the Spring Semester and September 15 for the Fall Semester.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA<\/li>\n
  • Be a Veteran (with a discharge status other than dishonorable), current service member, National Guardsmen, or Reservist<\/li>\n
  • Proof of military status (Ie. DD214, NGB 23, Certificate of Eligibility, or Memo from your commander stating you\u2019re a member of your unit in good standing)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • $500<\/li>\n
    • Limited number awarded<\/li>\n
    • Only available to students at the beginning of the semester<\/li>\n
    • May receive Center funds in addition to other MWSU scholarships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>
