Autism Spectrum Disorders Certificate Option

Autism  classes are offered solely online and the graduate certificate can  be completed in 1-2 years. Courses are open to degree-seeking students and non-degree-seeking  students.

How to apply:


Complete an online application for admission to the graduate school.

Admission to the program requires meeting all qualifications for acceptance to the Missouri Western Graduate School, successful completion of a baccalaureate degree in education or a related field, and a minimum GPA of a 2.75. The GRE is not required.

Applications for new graduate cohorts are accepted until approximately 1-2 months before the beginning of the next semester, see this link for specific deadlines:

Please note that the majority of new students start in the summer semester.  If you intend to start in a different semester, we encourage you to contact the Education Graduate Program first.
