Romaker was also given the Excellence in Geography award.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wildlife conservation and management major <\/span><b>Alyka Zahnd<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> was awarded the prestigious American Society of Plant Biologists Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Award for 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The History Department has awarded <\/span><b>Kendra Carman<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Adrian Dodson<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>Jordan Holkesvik<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the James R. Jordan History Honors Award; has awarded <\/span><b>Shannon Evans<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Tycen Gray<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Jordan historians\u2019 honor society, Phi Alpha Theta.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Pam Klaus \u201903<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, director of the Craig School of Business Center for Franchise Development, has been awarded the Missouri Business Education Association\u2019s Northwest District University Educator of the Year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Dr. Teddi Deka<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> was honored for nine years of service as honors director at the spring 2021 Honors Medal Ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Raechel Tittor \u201921<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> was awarded the Directors Award for her service as a student employee in the honors office at the spring 2021 Honors Medal Ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Dr. Gary Clapp<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, associate professor in the Department of Chemistry and director of the Kit Bond Science and Technology Incubator, was credited with two U.S. patents (10,729,673 and 10,993,927) for the synthesis and pharmaceutical applications of taxane particles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Biology faculty <\/span><b>Dr. Tilo Roy <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">was the plenary speaker at the 38th Symposium and Annual Meeting of the Association of Systematic Biologists of the Philippines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Sally Gibson<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, library director, was
