1930s<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Frances Flanagan \u201935 <\/strong>recently published \u201cArt Along the Way,\u201d a book of photographs from her world travels. The book is available for purchase for $40 at ArtCetera in downtown St. Joseph or in Spratt Hall 108. To order the book and have it mailed to you, send a check made out to Dr. Flanagan to MWSU, Spratt 108.<\/p>\n

1970s<\/strong><\/p>\n

Robert Meyer \u201974 <\/strong>retired after 37 years with the San Diego Unified School District. He and his wife, Barbara, live in Harbison Canyon, California. Robert Meyer earned a M.A. in Education from Alliant International University in San Diego.<\/p>\n

Lt. Col. Gregory A. Quirin (Ret.) \u201976 <\/strong>began working with the Special Education program at North Kansas City High School.<\/p>\n

Walter Wilson \u201976 <\/strong>was appointed a committee member of the Saint Louis Sports Hall of Fame. The 2015 Hall of Fame Enshrinement event was held in September, along with a celebrity golf tournament.<\/p>\n

1980s<\/strong><\/p>\n

Robert Newhart \u201983 <\/strong>is the interim superintendent of the St. Joseph School District for the 2015-16 school year.<\/p>\n

Dr. Steven T. Petty \u201986 <\/strong>is the chief economist with Florida Taxwatch, an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit taxpayer research institute and government watchdog.<\/p>\n

Karl Ploeger \u201986 <\/strong>joined Swanson Russell in Omaha, Nebraska as an account director. He will manage agriculture accounts and new business development.<\/p>\n

Karen Sue White \u201986 <\/strong>is the CEO and executive director of the St. Joseph Family YMCA. She had been serving as CEO of the YMCA in Lawton, Oklahoma. She is the first female CEO in the St. Joseph YMCA\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

1990s<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lt. Col. Grace Link \u201992 <\/strong>is the director of staff for the 2,300-member Missouri Air National Guard. The position includes the title of assistant adjutant general and involves day-to-day organization, recruitment and training.<\/p>\n

Lorena (Ridpath) Lewis \u201996 <\/strong>moved back to St. Joseph, Missouri after being away for 22 years. \"Lewis,<\/a>She is currently working at Tyson as an MRO inventory specialist.<\/p>\n

Rodney Potter \u201996 <\/strong>joined Progressive Community Services as assistant executive director.<\/p>\n

Lt. Col. Darius (Marc) Highsmith \u201997 <\/strong>was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U. S. \"LTC-Darius-Highsmith<\/a>Army and is stationed at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.<\/p>\n

\"Kelsey,<\/a>Martin Kelsey \u201999 <\/strong>works at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., where he hosts a middle school science show called STEM in 30.<\/p>\n

2000s<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tony Barmann \u201900 <\/strong>joined SJC Marketing in St. Joseph, Missouri as a graphic designer.<\/p>\n

Jenny Cathcart \u201900 <\/strong>joined Colman Insurance Services in St. Joseph, Missouri as an account executive.<\/p>\n

Winter (Berry) Houser \u201901 <\/strong>and her husband, John, announce the birth of a daughter, Gabriel \"Houser\"<\/a>(Gabbi) Essie, born Aug. 4, 2015. Siblings are John Jr., Riley, Erin, Kendel and the late Faith Lucille.<\/p>\n

Dr. Jasmine (Steele) Briedwell \u201903 <\/strong>was named Missouri National Distinguished Principal of the Year in 2015. She is principal at Lake Contrary Elementary School in St. Joseph, Missouri. Dr. Briedwell received the award at the National Association of Elementary School Principals event in Washington, D.C. in October.<\/p>\n

Rachel (Riggert) Graves \u201903 <\/strong>is the development officer at Missouri Western State University.<\/p>\n

\"Randolph\"<\/a>LaShaundra Randolph \u201903 <\/strong>was a 2015 honoree at the Women Honoring Women in the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the Kansas City Community who are \u201cKeepers of the Flame: Displaying Courage, Passion and Power.\u201d The event was sponsored by UMKC\u2019s Division of Diversity and Inclusion and was hosted by The Central Exchange in downtown Kansas City. The event also celebrated the 10th<\/sup> anniversary of the Women of Color Leadership Conference at UMKC.<\/p>\n

Kristen Robinson \u201907 <\/strong>and James Bennett were married June 19, 2015 in Laguna Beach, California. PHOTO<\/p>\n

2010s<\/strong><\/p>\n

Molly Smith \u201911 <\/strong>participated in Miami University\u2019s Earth Expeditions global field course in Belize. Smith, a business systems analyst at Mutual of Omaha in Bellevue, Nebraska, is earning her master\u2019s degree in Miami University\u2019s Global Field Program. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
