Kansas City Chiefs

Military Appreciation Day/Last Day of Camp

The Chiefs are proud to once again host Military Appreciation Day at camp.  This opportunity will provide VIP treatment for invited members of the armed forces, including soldiers stationed at local installations throughout Chiefs Kingdom. The event again comes on the closing day of training camp in St. Joseph and will include interaction by Chiefs players and coaches with these select military members. Again, this year, there will be static displays of military vehicles/equipment on-site from the Kansas National Guard for fan interaction during the course of the day’s festivities.

Anyone with a valid military ID will receive free parking and may simply show the ID to parking attendants for admission to the lot.

Also, the St. Joseph Community Blood Center will be conducting their annual camp blood drive from 8 a.m. to noon in the mobile donor bus parked immediately outside the main entrance to camp.  Appointments may be made on line at esavealifenow.org. Enter the promo code TRAININGCAMP.  Walk-ins are also accepted.  For more information contact 877-468-6844.
