International Center

Money Matters

The university offers value and quality education.  The tuition and fees are assessed after student registers for the appropriate credit hours during International Orientation week; tuition payment is expected during the first few weeks of the semester.  Refer to the financial amount responsibility stated on the I-20 or DS-2019 form, or review helpful information here, regarding cost of tuition and expected expenses.

Students and/or parents may submit payment in a variety of ways including but not limited to credit card, personal check (from a U.S. bank), and wire transfer of finances prior to arrival on campus.  Also, additional information regarding estimated tuition/fee is available online for the following:

For safety, security and peace of mind, student/family should consider wire transfer funds or finances for the first semester tuition/fees and room/board directly to the Missouri Western State University PRIOR to arrival on campus.  Student receive confirmation email, tracking status, and   Bring proof of financial fund transfer when you travel to the United States.

Alternatively, you may bring funds in the form of Bank Draft or Bank Cheque drawn on a U.S. bank and the U.S. currency.  As soon as you open a checking account at the local bank, you may deposit the Bank Draft into your account.  It may take a few days or 1-2 weeks for the check to clear, and the funds available to you in the account.  Also, you may bring a separate Bank Draft payable to Missouri Western State University so that you may pay the expected tuition/fee and/or room/meals to the University.  Bank representatives is available to help during orientation week.
