ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR FOR STUDENT HEALTH CENTER- to oversee the daily operation of the Student Health Center, performing responsible, confidential, and complex clerical functions, coordinating a variety of departmental and campus events, including maintaining appointment schedule in accordance with setting priorities, maintaining orderly flow of requests, keeping supervisor informed of current issues, and coordinating and administering activities, workshops, and special events related to department and/or campus. This position also maintains complex filing system of records, oversees budgets, establishes and maintains effective relationships with constituents of the Student Affairs Division, and supervises and assigns work to student office staff. This position maintains confidential individual health information files and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations on public health issues and privacy. Position requires a pro-active, highly organized person with strong interpersonal skills, strong communication skills and exceptional computer skills in Microsoft office applications. The successful candidate must have the ability to interact well with students in a fast-paced environment. REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED and one year of specialized training in office administration or business management, and three years of administrative support or related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. PREFER: College level coursework, degree, and/or experience in the health care field.
