UNIVERSITY POLICE OFFICER– University Police Department, shift work; performs various law enforcement functions as well as safety and security work for the campus, enforcing federal, state, and local laws, statutes, and ordinances as well as campus rules, regulations, and policies. Candidate must project a positive image and the ability to work in a diverse population. This position requires a person who is organized, able to multi-task, possesses strong oral/written communication skills, set priorities, and the ability to interact with others in a friendly and professional manner. REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent; P.O.S.T. Law Enforcement certification required; Missouri P.O.S.T. certification preferred, P.O.S.T. certification from other states will be accepted if they can transfer to Missouri P.O.S.T. certification and be eligible for Police Commission at the time of hire. PREFER: Minimum one year Campus Law Enforcement experience and/or school resource officer experience. Background investigation/physical agility/personality profile testing administered. POSITION SUMMARY: The Programming Associate analyzes, designs, programs, and maintains both web-based and Windows-based applications and scripts; services and maintains the IMC file servers; and assists with the maintenance of campus web servers. Performs web server administration using IIS and Apache.
