REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED; P.O.S.T. certification with the Missouri Department of Public Safety; three years of supervisory experience in a law enforcement setting and experience within the Missouri Western State University Police Department as an active officer preferred; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. HEAD STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH- Missouri Western State University is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Head Strength and Conditioning Coach within the Department of Athletics to design, conduct, and monitor strength and conditioning training programs for each university athletic program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; instructing and monitoring proper resistance training exercise technique and speed development, developing nutritional intake and athletic performance training programs for athletics teams, overseeing athletic performance operations and the strength and conditioning graduate assistants, tracking student-athlete progress, conducting summer strength and conditioning workouts, attending all home football games and traveling to away competition with the football program, overseeing general maintenance of weight facility and equipment, and teaching courses for HPER department as required. REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in physical education/exercise science or related degree, Master’s preferred, two years’ experience in individual and group performance training programs; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Candidate must have CSCS certification through NSCA, SCCC certification through the CSCCA, strong communication skills, and responsibility to adhere to HIPPA laws and NCAA rules and regulations. HEAD WOMEN’S TENNIS COACH- Missouri Western State University invites applications for the position of Head Women’s Tennis Coach. Missouri Western is an NCAA Division II member which successfully competes in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA). The successful candidate will be responsible for all phases of the tennis program including recruitment of quality student-athletes, academic success of student-athletes, scheduling, enhancing public relations, fund-raising, budget, adherence to NCAA and MIAA rules and regulations. The Head Coach will be responsible for supporting the philosophy, goals, and mission of both the University and its Intercollegiate Athletics program. ASSISTANT or ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF ACCOUNTING– The Craig School of Business invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track accounting position in our AACSB accredited school. The position will begin August 2019. Applicants are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate (MBA) accounting courses. Possible undergraduate courses may include financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, cost, or advanced financial. Graduate classes (onsite and online MBA) may include foundations of accounting and finance, forensic accounting, business taxation, or advanced accounting. Additionally, candidates are expected to engage in scholarly activities and provide departmental/university service. REQUIRED: Ph.D. in Accounting (ABD will be considered) or Ph.D. with completion of AACSB Post-Doctoral Bridge to Business Program with an accounting concentration. NURSING FACULTY-(tenure-track) – The School of Nursing and Health Professions is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor with joint responsibility in the BSN and MSN programs with teaching assignments beginning August 2019. Responsibilities include classroom teaching of statistics and evidence based practice, as well as supervision of nursing students in internships, or clinical courses. ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY, ADJUNCT PROFESSOR- The Department of Engineering Technology is seeking multiple applications for adjunct faculty positions for Fall 2019. The faculty will teach undergraduate courses in Construction Engineering Technology and Manufacturing Engineering Technology, which include surveying, construction management, construction materials, statics, computer-aided drafting, etc. These are non-tenure track positions with a high possibility of reappointment.
