RESIDENCE HALL DIRECTOR (RHD) – plays an intricate role in fostering the creation of positive residential communities through leadership, supervision and staff development. The RHD manages a residence hall of approximately 400-525 students, supervising 12-16 Resident Assistants, managing student staff for front desk, computer lab, and night security operations, serving as a University conduct officer, and assists with summer camps and conferences. Collateral assignments may include: supervising student maintenance, co-teaching leadership/RA Class, student staff selection and/or training participation. Candidate must have sensitivity to multicultural issues and support a diverse environment, be prepared to play an active role in the development of the department, and needs to have a strong programming background. REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree and experience in student residential life, Master’s degree and college student personnel (CSP) preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties. UNIVERSITY POLICE OFFICER – University Police Department, shift work; performs various law enforcement functions as well as safety and security work for the campus, enforcing federal, state, and local laws, statutes, and ordinances as well as campus rules, regulations, and policies. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT – The Steven L. Craig School of Business at Missouri Western State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant or Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management in our AACSB Accredited School to begin August 2018. REQUIRED: Doctorate (ABD near completion will be considered) from an AACSB Accredited university with a major field of study in Supply Chain Management or Logistics. The candidate must be able to teach a variety of supply chain classes including demand planning and management, strategic sourcing, or supply chain analytics. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – EXERCISE SCIENCE/PHYSICAL EDUCATION – (full-time, tenure track position to begin August 2019) – The Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation at Missouri Western State University is seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor to teach classroom and online undergraduate courses in Exercise Science. Course may include sport and fitness nutrition, principles of aerobic training, exercise for special populations, advanced cardiovascular physiology, and applied techniques in personal training. INSTRUCTOR – POLITICAL SCIENCE & GEOGRAPHY – (non-tenure track, one-year renewable) – The Department of Economics, Political Science, and Sociology is seeking applications from well-qualified candidates to teach 12 credit hours per semester beginning August 2019. This is a blended position with instructional responsibilities in both the disciplines of Political Science and Geography. We are seeking broadly trained applicants with areas of expertise that include some combination of American Politics, American or International Public Policy, International Relations; and Geographic/Spatial Relations. The ideal candidate would support general education courses in American Government and Cultural World Geography while contributing to upper division course work in Political Science and Geography as dictated by program needs. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – STUDIO ART FOUNDATION – The Department of Art in the School of Fine Arts at Missouri Western State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in Art to begin August 2019. The Department of Art seeks an individual to instruct undergraduate courses in studio foundations. The successful candidate will teach an average of three courses per semester, including Beginning Drawing I, 2D Design, Beginning Drawing II and or Immediate Drawing and various studio courses as required. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – PHYSICS – (tenure-track position) – Missouri Western State University is seeking applications for a full-time faculty position in Physics beginning August 2019. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – ECONOMICS – (tenure-track, two positions) – The Department of Economics, Political Science, and Sociology at Missouri Western State University invites applications for two tenure-track positions in Economics at the Assistant Professor rank beginning August 2019.
