Vision Service Plan (VSP)

Full-time Faculty and Staff
MWSU provides vision insurance coverage through VSP to all benefit eligible employees. Employees may choose from the low-option or a high option plan. MWSU pays 100% of the employee’s premium for enrollment in the low–option vision plan. Employees may choose to pay an additional premium for the high option plan. Deductions are made on a pre-tax basis.

Spouse and Eligible Dependents
Employees may choose to cover their spouse and/or eligible dependents under the vision plans. Dependents can be covered through the end of the calendar year they turn 26 (regardless of marital status). Employees are responsible for 100% of the premium cost for coverage of a spouse/dependent(s) through payroll deduction. Deductions are made on a pre-tax basis.
