Recreation Sports Management

Recreation Sports Management students get hands-on experience to help leverage them into careers in recreation, sports or tourism. If you’re interested in doing any of  the following, then Recreation Sports Management may be for you:

  • Teach others about the sport or recreational activity that you love
  • Work with youth in settings outside of the classroom
  • Go to work every day in the outdoors
  • Start your own recreation, sport, or tourism-related business
  • Work in professional sport or college athletics
  • Create community at colleges and universities through campus recreation
  • Provide recreation, sport, or tourism opportunities for military personnel and their families

  • Showcase the great things your community has to offer

Recreation Sports Management majors choose one of two concentrations – Recreation Management or Sports Management. Once you have chosen your concentration, you can choose classes from a list to customize your program based on your interests.
