Before Applying

  • Study for and take the ACT or SAT
    • No matter how many times you choose to take the ACT or SAT, we will always keep your highest score. Missouri Western utilities ACT “superscore” method to evaluate the ACT of incoming freshman for admission and scholarship offers.
  • Visit campus
  • Schedule a campus visit, meet with an admissions counselor, and go on tour with a current Missouri Western student!

Apply for Admission

  •  Complete the application for admission
  • Submit high school transcripts to the Office of Admissions
  • Submit transcripts for any dual credit/dual enrollment courses taken while in high school to the Office of Admissions
  • Submit official ACT or SAT scores to the Office of Admissions

Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships

  • Complete FAFSA Application online by February 1st
  • Submit Competitive Scholarship Application by February 1st

Set-up your GoldLink Account

  • Instructions on how to set up your GoldLink account will be included in your acceptance packet

Sign Up for Housing

  • Submit housing application through your GoldLink account
  • Pay $100 housing deposit
  • Submit immunization and housing paperwork to the Housing Office

Submit Final High School Transcripts

  • Final high school transcripts should be submitted to the Office of Admissions

Sign Up for Griffon Orientation

  • Sign up for a summer Griffon Orientation day through your GoldLink account
  • Enroll in classes, receive your student ID card and parking pass, buy books and supplies, and take any necessary placement tests

Set-up a Payment Plan

  • If needed, you can set-up a payment plan through your GoldLink account

Learn More About Student-Led Organizations

  • Visit Student Organizations to see what clubs and organizations are available on campus, and learn more about their meetings and events

Contact Your Roommates

  • Once you receive your housing placement, get in touch with your future roommates, introduce yourself, and create a packing list for move-in day

Attend Griffon Edge

  • Move in to the residence halls early, become oriented to campus, make new friends, and earn one hour of college credit!

First Day of Classes

  • Grab your back-pack, head to class, and remember, everything is possible at Missouri Western!
