Unity Vigil
The recent events in Ferguson, Mo., have raised raw emotions in many people across the nation. To acknowledge those strong feelings, to reflect on all victims of violence, and to begin the process of healing and moving forward with positive action, the Center for Multicultural Education will be hosting a unity vigil for all students, faculty, and staff on Monday night at 7 p.m., in the Kelley Commons, just outside the Blum Union. We invite you all to attend.
Griffons in the Hall of Fame
Three individuals and one team have been selected for the 2014 Griffon Athletics Hall of Fame class.
Brice Garnett (2012), Larry Ingram (2007) and the 1994-1995 Griffon women’s basketball Team will be officially inducted this year.
New Publicity Guidelines
The Center for Student Involvement is requiring student organizations and university departments to submit all posters & flyers to be posted on campus-wide bulletin boards to the CSI (Blum 207) by noon on Mondays for approval. They will then be posted by our staff!
In an effort to organize our campus-wide bulletin boards, only CSI staff will be allowed to hang up posters/flyers. Posters/flyers can be posted for 2 weeks (unless special permission for a longer period of time is provided by the Assistant Dean of Student Development). To allow space to publicize all of our events, posters/flyers are to be no larger than 11x17 inches.
This policy only applies to campus-wide bulletin boards. Permission to post on departmental bulletin boards should be provided by the boards' owner(s). Please keep this in mind as you design and print flyers for the fall semester.
