Marty joined the staff at Missouri Western in August of 1980, where he served as a groundskeeper for Physical Plant for the past 32 years. He was such a kind person and hard worker and he did so much to keep our campus looking beautiful! We can all remember seeing Marty planting, watering, and trimming the flowers, plants and trees on campus. He did an amazing job! The Staff Association Advantage Committee is sponsoring a memorial donation drive so that Physical Plant can do a special planting or landscaping in Marty's memory.
If you would like to make a donation, please send cash or a check to the Foundation Office, Spratt 211. Please make checks payable to MWSU Foundation and put Marty Bachman Memorial in the subject line. All donations must be turned in by Friday, February 21.
