Students Living On-Campus:Dorm-Shot

Wednesday, August 23 | 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
You will move into the residence halls during this time. You will go to the Griffon Edge Welcome Rally on Thursday, August 24th, at 9:45 a.m. in the Looney Arena.

Students Living Off-Campus:

Thursday, August 24 | 9:45 a.m. | Looney Arena
Please park in the white lines of Lot J in front of Looney Arena.


square  Get your Student ID if you have not done so already:
You must have a valid Student ID to check-in for Griffon Edge. You can obtain your card in the Parking & Security Services office (Blum Union 100).

square   Set-up your Goldlink account PRIOR to Griffon Edge:
This is the primary form of communication used by Missouri Western and will be required for Griffon Edge assignments.

square   Make arrangements to attend the ENTIRE Griffon Edge program:
Griffon Edge will take place August 24-27th. Absences and tardiness are not acceptable and will result in a reduction of your grade. Please look over the schedule to see which events are mandatory before making any plans outside of Griffon Edge.

square   Wear comfortable clothes and shoes

square   Cell phone usage:
As this is an academic course, cell phone usage is prohibited during the presentation aspects of the program. However, we are encouraging you to connect with your Color Team via social media, and to share your experiences during certain activities. Also, be prepared to complete assignments and participate in discussions in order to receive a grade for this class.

square   Print your class schedule:
Go to your Goldlink account and print off an updated class schedule. Over the course of the summer, classes might change rooms and we want to walk you to each of your classes during your personalized Schedule Crawl, which you will schedule with your Griffon Edge Mentor (GEM). You will need your class schedule for this event.

square   Memorize your Group Color and be ready with it at the Welcome Rally:
 If you have forgotten your group color then please look at the label on the postcard mailed to you or check your student email through your Goldlink account.
