Welcome, Griffons<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We cannot wait to welcome you and your fellow Griffons at Griffon Edge.<\/p>\n

Griffon Edge is your launch pad into life at MoWest. At Griffon Edge you will explore campus resources, learn how to be successful, and connect and create memories with your fellow Griffons.<\/p>\n

What will I get out of Griffon Edge?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Connection to Campus:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

GEM Teams<\/strong>: Students will be grouped by their UNV 101 \/ UNV 105 \/ GBA 110 Sections and lead by Griffon EDGE Mentors or \u201cGEMS\u201d. Your Griffon Edge Mentor will be your \u201cgo-to\u201d person to answer questions and guide your way throughout Griffon Edge. Griffon Edge Mentors are a great resource to help you if you have questions throughout your first year on campus too.<\/p>\n

Social Events<\/strong>: Making friends can be one of the most intimidating parts of starting college. Griffon Edge is here to help you make those connections before classes even begin. On top of the people you\u2019ll meet in your color team, we will offer nightly social events where you can connect with even more Griffons.<\/p>\n

Prepare for Classes:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Schedule Crawl<\/strong>: Nervous about finding your classes? We provide a tour of your class schedule so there is no scrambling to find a classroom on your first day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Resources<\/strong>: At Griffon Orientation we introduced you to campus resources. At Griffon Edge, you\u2019ll get in-depth knowledge from staff and faculty about how to succeed in the classroom, how to get involved, and how to survive your first year. All of our sessions will give you practical knowledge that will help you thrive in your first year.<\/p>\n<\/div>
