Missouri Western Scholarships - Art

Amy Singleton Memorial  Art Scholarship
Established in memory of Amy Singleton. Recipient must be a full-time student (enrolled in 12 hours or more); a declared art major with 30 credit hours and a minimum GPA of 2.5. Selection of the recipients will be by a committee from the art department.

Animation Scholarship
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must have a high work ethic, demonstrate talent in studio work and display scholarship achievement.

Excellence-Art (Freshman)
These scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to students who qualify according to Art Department guidelines. Freshman applicants must have a minimum ACT of 22 and be in the top 25% of his/her high school class. Academic criteria may be waived if the applicant displays outstanding artistic ability as determined by the Art Department.

Excellence-Art (Continuing Student)
These scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to students who qualify according to Art Department guidelines. Continuing students must have achieved sophomore standing and be a declared art major with a minimum departmental GPA of 3.50 and a cumulative GPA of 3.00. Academic criteria may be waived if the applicant displays outstanding artistic ability as determined by the Art Department.

Louise Bradley Art Scholarship
The family of Mrs. Louise Bradley established this scholarship. Recipient must have a high work ethic, demonstrated talent in studio or aptitude in art history, have shown scholarship achievement and demonstrate financial need. Selection of the recipient(s) will be by a committee from the art department.

Trails West Scholarship
The Trails West scholarship is funded by the Trails West festival. This scholarship is available to art majors.
