Career opportunities are excellent for graduates armed with an engineering technology degree from Missouri Western. Our graduates enjoy careers as project managers, engineering technicians, estimators, project engineers, construction managers and more.

Our job-ready graduates are in high demand for the much-needed technical workforce in our region and throughout the country. Many of our seniors are offered jobs even before graduating! Additionally, graduates of Missouri Western’s engineering technology program are one of the highest paid graduates on campus.

No matter which engineering technology degree students choose, they have a wide variety of careers options:

Construction Engineering Technology

building construction, highway construction, construction project management, surveying, or architectural support

Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology

computer hardware engineer, test engineer, software engineer or engineering technician.

Electronics Engineering Technology

electrical technologist, test lab engineer, electronic security technician, maintenance supervisor, or applied engineer.

Manufacturing Engineering Technology

production supervisor, plant engineer, quality assurance inspector, or assembly supervisor.
