Sell it! Impromptu Sales Pitch

Criteria:       Five points possible for each of the following:

  1. Target language use (quantity)
  2. Accuracy of language
  3. Creativity
Prizes: Awarded to teams for first and second place in each language.

Each team of two-three students is given an item that has no obvious purpose. The team determines its purpose and then attempts to “sell it” to the panel of judges by showing how it is used and why it’s a great product. Each team will have one minute to prepare and one minute to give their sales pitch. Students should use as much of the target language as possible.

(No more than three teams per school per language may compete.)
