Good afternoon,<\/div>\n

As we begin our weekend, I wanted to provide you with a brief update on\u00a0COVID-19<\/a>. The total number of MWSU students and employees with COVID-19 reported earlier today in our campus community was eight (8) individuals, all are isolating off campus. Although this number may seem lower than last week, I would like to share information from the broader community. The hospitalizations caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection have been elevated in\u00a0Northwest Missouri<\/a>\u00a0as reported by the Missouri Hospital Association. Our campus community has experienced family, friends, and acquaintances that have had serious cases of COVID-19. Please continue to frequently wash your hands, physically distance, and wear a mask. When we do these things, we are not just protecting ourselves, but we are protecting others as well. Have a safe, healthy weekend.<\/div>\n
