Hello, Griffon family: Thank you for all that you have done to help ensure the health and safety of our campus community by taking steps to slow the spread of COVID-19 on campus. As of today, Aug. 28, we have  29 current confirmed cases of COVID-19 among our students and employees, with one person self-isolating on campus. Thankfully no one  has required hospitalization. Good afternoon, I hope that you have had a great first week of the semester. I want to provide a few COVID-19 updates. First, I want to let you know that the COVID-19 Task Force has been closely monitoring our prevention strategies and cases on campus. Recreation Services Facilities – COVID-19 Procedures

Phase 1: August 10 - September 30, 2020 In addition to current facility policies and procedures, the following policies will be implemented in order to cope with the COVID-19 Pandemic. Spring Commencement Ceremony Rescheduled

Missouri Western State University has rescheduled its Spring Commencement ceremony for Family Weekend this fall. The ceremony for students who earned their degrees in the spring semester and in the summer term will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2020, in the Looney Complex Arena. Spring and Summer 2020 graduates who are unable to participate in the September 20 commencement will be invited to participate in the December 2020 commencement ceremony on December 19, 2020.
