“I talk to friends of mine who are in other film programs, and I tell them, ‘Hey, I shot a Super Bowl commercial.’ And they’re like, ‘You did WHAT?’”

“I would never have thought as a junior in college that I would have the opportunity to work on anything major, let alone a Super Bowl commercial.”
That’s what senior Chris Rayle, a theatre cinema major, says about being part of the crew that produced a commercial played during Super Bowl XLVIII.
“Watching the commercial on Super Bowl Sunday with my family was really a blast, it was like, ‘I did that.’ That is something that can never be taken away from me, and Missouri Western gave that to me,” he said.
Additionally, Chris said his experience with the Super Bowl commercial opened up many more doors and opportunities for him and his fellow students, including more commercials, a music video and a web series.
