Shamaria Pointer had wanted to return to college for several years, but family obligations and her child’s health issues always prevented her. But, she has finally been able to return and achieve her dream of a college degree.
“Missouri Western provides a wonderful learning environment, with professors who will do whatever they can to help you as long as you are helping yourself,” she said. “I’m so thankful I took a chance on myself, and I have a newfound confidence.”
