The Highest Accolades
The Craig School of Business is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Attending an accredited school of business ensures you that the Craig School of Business has been evaluated and meets a certain set of standards determined by accrediting organizations. The AACSB Accreditation Standards are designed to challenge post-secondary educators and institutions like the CSB to pursue excellence and continuous improvement throughout their business programs. AACSB Accreditation is known throughout the world as the longest standing and most recognized form of specialized and professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn.
Accreditation is a voluntary evaluation and review of the CSB educational programs and gives a foundation of values and standards to which this college strictly follows and honors. The process to earn this AACSB Accreditation was both arduous and extensive, testing the value of the education offered by the CSB and the curriculum supported within our environment. The Craig School of Business holds these standards in the utmost importance and our faculty strives to provide a quality education and experience to every individual on campus.
The Steven L. Craig School of Business at Missouri Western University is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. This honor means the quality faculty and staff adhere to relevant and challenging curriculum and provide educational and career opportunities that are not found at other business schools.
The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools not only nationally, but worldwide as well. Less than 5 percent of business schools in the United States earn the highly respected achievement of being accredited by the institution. It is proven that students graduating from accredited universities are more sought after by employers. AACSB-accredited schools are considered the best business schools available. The degree programs have passed rigorous standards for quality, proving that they offer better programs, better faculty and better students with higher overall GPA scores that non-accredited schools.
In order to achieve AACSB accreditation, the Craig School of Business worked with mentors, committees and the AACSB staff to develop a specific set of standards that are agreed and set by over 700 other business programs worldwide. The action plan in which CSB set to achieve those standards was reviewed by the AACSB Board of Directors, who determined that the school was worthy of the highly respected recognition. For business schools, AACSB accreditation is the largest and most recognized specialized accreditation available worldwide. The AACSB requires schools to adhere to their standards that prove their school drives innovation, engagement and impact with their students, employers and communities they serve.
