{"id":1545,"date":"2020-01-15T09:53:36","date_gmt":"2020-01-15T15:53:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/biology\/?p=1545"},"modified":"2020-07-13T09:53:21","modified_gmt":"2020-07-13T14:53:21","slug":"super-science-saturday-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/biology\/super-science-saturday-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Super Science Saturday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>January 25, 2020<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>10:00 am to 3:00 pm<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Agenstein Remington Halls<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>$3 for students and adults, children 5 and under are free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The annual Super Science Saturday event to benefit the St. Joseph Museums will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, in Agenstein and Remington Halls on the campus of Missouri Western State University.<\/p>\n<p>Science educators from Missouri Western and local high schools will present a full day of hands-on interactive science activities for children of all ages. The event also includes weather-related experiments courtesy of KQ2 and KNPN Fox 26 as well as a math maze, glow wall, 3D holograph area\u00a0and live reptiles.<\/p>\n<p>Missouri Western\u2019s chemistry faculty will present chemistry shows every 15 minutes starting at 10:30 a.m. There will also be weather center activities as well as a weather forecasting technology studio where participants can practice giving weather reports in front of a green screen.
