The annual Super Science Saturday event to benefit the St. Joseph Museums will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, in Agenstein and Remington Halls on the campus of Missouri Western State University.

Science educators from Missouri Western and local high schools will present a full day of hands-on interactive science activities for children of all ages. The event also includes weather-related experiments courtesy of KQ2 and KNPN Fox 26 as well as a math maze, glow wall, 3D holograph area and live reptiles.

Missouri Western’s chemistry faculty will present chemistry shows every 15 minutes starting at 10:30 a.m. There will also be weather center activities as well as a weather forecasting technology studio where participants can practice giving weather reports in front of a green screen. Reptile programs will be held at 11 a.m., noon, 1 pm. and 2 p.m. There will also be shows every 10 minutes in the Bushman Planetarium.
