Recent graduate Charity Page feels her wide range of hands-on experiences at Missouri Western really prepared her for the future. \u201cWhen I came to campus, I landed a job as Program Coordinator in the International Center, which gave me the leadership and organizational skills I needed to stand out,\u201d says Charity. \u201cMy supervisors supported and encouraged me to excel, and my professors in the Art Department also helped me to grow as a graphic design professional.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charity is traveling to Japan to teach English as her first adventure after graduation and believes that her experiences at Missouri Western have enabled her to pursue her dreams.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe pursuing an art degree at Missouri Western was a great choice. It\u2019s affordable, the professors really care about and help you, and there are so many opportunities to get involved on campus. I would highly recommend any prospective art major to study here.\u201d<\/p>\n

After finishing her time in Japan, Charity plans to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. \u201cWhether that will be in the U.S. or in Japan is to be decided.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>
